Hello Christine,

A while ago you featured one of my paintings in your post On our Hands and Knees: crawling for art (Jessica Stepushyn, Our Beautiful Negligence) and I just wanted to give you a heads up that I'm having another show on the 14th at the Little Fernwood Gallery with my friend Kaye Collins. It's between 1-4, the theme is light and shadow, and I hope to see you there!

The show was great tonight. The studio is three flights up off Fisgard and is full of history and beaten-up wood floors and inspiring printmaking hanging from old walls. The flatbed press is in a small room by itself where there is evidence of many projects underway. Kathy's work wells up with love for her father and an appreciation of his special life. The multi-step process is complex yet the resulting prints seems natural, unforced. The nine prints are finished with hand-lettered messages of wisdom. It was all very beautiful!
